The short version. FramePal is a subscription tool that edits inside your own Premiere Pro and After Effects. Your key works on two machines. Each plan includes a monthly AI budget, and when it runs out the AI features pause until the next cycle. FramePal always works on a duplicate of your sequence — but you are responsible for your own backups, and you are responsible for having the rights to the media you put through it. Cancel any time; the subscription runs to the end of the period you paid for.
These terms are between you and Bennet Rijkaard, trading as FramePal ("FramePal", "we"). By creating an account, activating a key or using the software you accept them. If you are using FramePal for a company, you confirm you may accept these terms for it.
You must be at least 18, or old enough to enter a contract where you live.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use FramePal while your subscription or trial is active.
Requirements: FramePal runs on macOS on Apple Silicon (M1 or later) with Premiere Pro 25.6 or later. It does not run on Intel Macs and it does not run on Windows.
FramePal's features call AI services that cost real money per request, so every plan includes a monthly AI budget and a separate cap for AI VFX rendering. Your account page shows both and what you have used.
A free trial gives you a limited budget for a limited time, once per person.
Subscriptions are billed in advance through Stripe on the cycle shown at checkout, and renew automatically until cancelled. Prices are in the currency shown and exclude any tax that applies where you are. If a payment fails we may pause the AI features until it succeeds.
Your footage, projects and edits are yours. We claim no rights in them, and they stay on your machine except where the Privacy Policy says a feature sends something out.
⚠️ You are responsible for having the rights to the media you put through FramePal, and for the rights to anything it places on your timeline — including music, sound effects, stock, memes, GIFs and clips pulled from third-party services. FramePal helps you find and place material; it does not clear it, and licensing it is your job.
FramePal works on a duplicate of your sequence rather than the original, and verifies what it did. That is a safety net, not a backup system: keep your own backups.
Do not use FramePal to produce or process material that is unlawful, infringing, or that depicts the sexual abuse of children; to harass anyone; to get around the terms or technical limits of any service FramePal talks to; or to attack, probe or overload our servers.
FramePal talks to Adobe's applications and to AI and media services. It depends on them, and they can change or withdraw their interfaces at any time. We are not responsible for those services, and their own terms apply to what they return. If one becomes unavailable, the feature that uses it may stop working.
We aim to keep the service up but do not promise it will be uninterrupted. FramePal updates itself; updates may add, change or remove features. If a change materially reduces what you are paying for, you may cancel and we will refund the unused part of that period.
FramePal is provided "as is". AI output is generated automatically, is not always right, and must be reviewed by you before you rely on it or deliver it to a client.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost data, lost footage or business interruption, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before it arose.
Nothing here affects the statutory rights you have as a consumer.
You can stop at any time by cancelling and deleting your account. We may suspend or end your licence if you break these terms, if payment fails, or if we have to stop offering the service — and if we end it without cause we will refund the unused part of your period.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer elsewhere, you keep the protections of your own country's law.
